Kim Haymes, SHRM-CP, is Bud & Mary’s Vice President of Human Resources. In this role, she translates business vision into actionable, value-added HR initiatives that improve company performance, profitability, growth, and employee engagement and buy-in. She is a compassionate, strategic and innovative leader who understands that people are every organization’s most important asset.
Kim joined Bud & Mary’s in 2022, bringing extensive experience in human resources and organizational leadership. Prior to her current position, she spent six years at Kemin Industries where she held roles of increasing responsibility in organizational change management and human resources. Kim has received certifications from SHRM, Gallup, and Prosci Change Management.
Kim lives in Des Moines, IA, with her husband, daughter, and two dogs. She performs locally in theatre and film and is the Board President of About Time Theatre Company.
Kim graduated summa cum laude from Iowa State University.
