MedPharm Iowa rebrands as Bud & Mary’s Cannabis, plans expansions

DES MOINES, Iowa (June 2, 2022) MedPharm Iowa has changed its name to Bud & Mary’s Cannabis. The name change reflects the Iowa owned and operated company’s strong growth in Iowa, Colorado, and Michigan, while also honoring the legacy of the family-owned business. Along with its major expansions in Colorado and Michigan, Bud & Mary’s is making a significant re-investment in Iowa.

Iowa Expansion Plans

  • Bud & Mary’s will invest more than $10 million into their existing Des Moines cannabis production facility
  • The expansion will allow for a 3x increase in cannabis production for the Iowa program in order to meet increasing patient needs.
  • The expansion will add at least 20 new jobs
  • The expansion is expected to be complete in early 2023
