Travis Long is the General Manager of Bud & Mary’s Missouri market. With over 15 years of experience spanning hospitality, temporary services, manufacturing, and cannabis, Travis brings a hands-on, passionate approach to business management, leadership and operations, quickly rising from Project Manager to General Manager.
Travis developed a strong work ethic and passion for business management at a young age, beginning his career in the hospitality industry at 14. During high school, he took vocational classes and worked for his father’s temp service, specializing in banquets, catering, and housekeeping. Travis ultimately took over the family business in the face of unexpected challenges, rebranded it and secured high-profile accounts, including serving Governor Matt Blunt at the Governor’s Mansion.
After exploring various other trades, Travis discovered his true calling in Missouri’s emerging cannabis market. In 2022, he deepened his expertise by joining one of Canada’s leading extraction companies and learning advanced techniques, ultimately bringing his knowledge to the cannabis industry in Missouri. His work led to the successful approval of state operations, and under his leadership, the company achieved significant recognition, including winning the Cannabis Cup for #1 infused pre-roll.
Outside of work, Travis enjoys spending time with his wife and son. He is passionate about personal development through online study, and enjoys sports, particularly tennis, golf, and fantasy football. A dedicated Kansas City Royals and Chiefs fan, Travis also loves traveling and exploring new experiences.
